These stats are all unbuffed. With buffs staff and melee D buff into the 370 range and bow into the 350s. Lockpick also buffs nicely, well enough to make singularity keys consistantly.
Ceazar is one of the most flexible characters you will encounter in AC. He's a true archer with specialized bow and trained fletching. He's also a true staffer with specialized staff and specialized melee D. If you need a shield to survive an intense situation you can switch to staff, if the situation favors a distance attack you can equip one of the best bows on the server and reliably take down your targets.
The current theory on the boards is that you need life magic to survive at high levels. This is true but it doesn't really tell the entire story. What you need are life magic's protections. Thanks to specialized arcane lore and a full set of level six life protects Ceazar is as protected as any melee character that specialized life magic. While the melee template that took specialized magic is buffing and buying platinum peas in the mage shop at 40k a pop and fizzling his spells like mad all you have to do is slap on the appropriate clothing and jewelry and go kill stuff without worrying about your protections for at least four hours. It's hard to explain just how fun AC is when you don't have to buff to kill but I'm absolutely sure that this is one feature of ceazar you will appreciate the moment you start playing him.
Conventional wisdom on the boards says that specializing bow is useless as well. It's true that with a 200 bow-skill you can hit any legacy monster in the game.
What's also true is that the new monsters being introduced (banderlings, altered drudges, grievers, vapor golums) have much higher missle defense levels. Specializing bow ensures
that you will ALWAYS be able to use this attack no matter what is introduced into the game. Also bear in mind that where your bow skill is vastly overpowered (such as
shooting nomad mu-miyah) you can adjust the accuracy slider to the absolute minimum to shoot as fast as possible and still hit consistantly. Unspecialized archers will always
be stuck with the slider at the farthest, slowest, most-accurate settings.
Lockpick has always been important to the game and it continues to be important. With Ceazar you will never know the frustration of slogging your
way down to the bottom of a dungeon only to have the ending denied you for a locked door like so many who attempted to
explore Aerlinthe & Ithaec. You'll be able to hunt minions and then turn around and make singualrity keys either to farm
the best loot in the game or trade for it.
Item magic may seem low, Ceazar doesn't have a single level VII spell in his book at the time of this writing , however realize that Ceazar doesn't buff. Buffing is the single most un-fun aspect of Asheron's call and Ceazar was designed so his buff cycle consists and charging items with mana stones every few hours or so and that's it. Ceazar doesn't buff, item is just there for portal spells. As you scroll down and browse Ceazar's gear, you'll find out why he does not require buffs.
This is Ceazar's most prized possession. This is the type of weapon you name, and I did. The blood drinker level is perfect, the bonus to attack is nearly flawless and any blemish is glossed over by the heart seeker spell. Coordination V means you can free up a jewlery slot if you want because the bow is buffing that, and your bow damage for you.
The cornerstone of the black uber suit. This hauberk's protections are excellent, the AL is unparalleled AND it casts Strength 5. Strength 5 lets you carry more gear as well as adding 10 points to your melee skills. I was wearing this when I took the pic so you're seeing the buffed armor level.
There are better leggings out there, but not by much. The base Al is
servicable and it has a nice impen spell bringing the AL up to 250. As an added bonus it matches the rest of the suit
and adds a nice little rejuvination IV spell saving you more than a few stamina elixers.
These sols are the foundation of the black uber suit. In addition
to a good AL with a nice impen level bringing it up to 250, Ceazar can easilly activate the staff mastery VI spell on
the sols. Simply put, slap on these sols and the coordination VI gaunts, equip the black fire staff and a good shield and
it just doesn't get any better.
What would a great archer be without a coordination VI buff for the maximum damage and the maximum accuracy. Well here you go, racially modified gharu coordination gauntlets, one of the more rare and prized items
in the game.
These gauntlets have yet to be dyed. If you procure a black plant Anjin (Also on this account) is more than qualified to dye them for you. Additionally green matches this suit very well thanks to the green belt on the hauberk and anjin has more than a few green dyes laying around.
And a quite uber helm rounds out an exceptional suit. Did you notice that in addition to being better AL than shadow amuli this suit also is lighter?
Composite 110 bow made with a Dark Rev handle. This is the best composite bow available in the game with
a 110% damage modifier, +6 attack and defense bonuses and level V blood drinker and Bow mastery spells. Despite the burden I keep this bow on Ceazar for those times when he absolutely must outfit to drop nothing of value or the bonus to melee D
becomes invaluable.
In addition to a shendolain shield and several impen 6 shields on the mule, this shield -- my favorite -- is available to you should you require it. This shield is light, offers a buffed shield level of 285 and a light buff to bludgeon protection. For a burden concious archer the combination of low burden and high armor level is very irresistable.
Notice anything cool about this picture? (Hint, there are 5 staffs and 5 stones).
The Staff of Black Fire, an atlan staff with the stone of black fire inserted into it. THERE IS NO BETTER STAFF WEAPON IN THE GAME. Here you see it activated in all it's glory. Ceazar does not need any buffs to activate it.
There aren't many staffs better than the atlan staffs for day to day use. However, I'm fortunate enough to have this nabut which is the bane of every tusker in the game. The damage is slightly better than an a fire-atlan and the bonus to attack makes the Tusker's formidable melee Defense seem almost trivial.
Ceazar's wardrobe is among the best on the server. Most pieces are
racially modified level six protections so even with extreme vitae you will be able to use the clothing.
Additionally, for maximum flexibility racially modified Armor VI is available in both pants and shirt form.

With this gear you simply don't need to buff and you would not begin to believe how fun Asheron's Call is without the need to stop and recast your spells every 10 minutes!
